Innovative Housing to Host Construction Kick-Off for $11 Million Project

Heavy EquipmentPortland OR – Innovative Housing is hosting a construction kick-off event and “FriendRaiser” July 21 at the site of the nonprofit’s newest affordable housing development.

The $11 million project, to be built in the Northeast Portland Eliot Neighborhood, will include 50 affordable housing units, reported The Oregonian.

The event will go from noon to 3 p.m. on the vacant lot on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at Northeast Cook Street. The free kick-off also will include live music, food vendors, and activities for kids.
