The historic John Mock House will be open to the public on September 13, 2011. A reception and tour will be provided. Tickets are $15 ($10 for members of the Architectural Heritage Center). The home is on the National Register of Historic Places. John Mock was a key figure in Portland history. The AHC’s website notes that the home is one of the last unrestored significant Victorian homes in Portland. The owner is about to commence restoration.
